Al-Assad, Putin discuss the situation in the region

The Syrian President Bashar al-Assad and the Russian President Vladimir Putin in a telephone conversation, yesterday, discussed current conditions in the region, especially in Iraq.
SANA said that al-Assad and Putin "discussed current conditions in the region, especially relating to Iraq and current events in the occupied Palestinian territories." SANA added that the two presidents "agreed during the telephone call to intensify consultation and coordination between the two countries Russia and Federal Russia in this regard."
