Al-Watan: Yemeni FM: Israeli fingers behind Yemeni - Eritrea differences

The Yemeni foreign minister Abu baker al-Qurabi has stressed that the Israeli fingers are behind certain Yemeni- Eritrea differences.
In a statement to the Saudi daily al-Watan issued yesterday, al-Qurabi said that Israel's aim is to control the Red Sea because it has ambitions in this Sea, the same ones it has in the Arab "homeland as a whole."
He added that Israel has fears that the Red Sea will be an Arab lake controlled by the Arab states, and therefore Israel uses all differences for the interests of enhancing its influence in the Red Sea. He explained that "this is a well- known Israeli strategy," stressing his country's care not to enable Israel from achieving this objective.
