Saudi center in Buenos Aires helps Argentine poor

The Saudi King Fahd Cultural Center in Buenos Aires has distributed food assistance to 500 poor families in the Argentinean capital city on the occasion of the Night of Destiny, which coincided with the night of 27th day of the Muslim Fasting Month of Ramadan.
The assistance, made up of foodstuffs, is destined to help poor families suffering from the severe economic crisis hitting Argentina for more than a year.
Argentina hosts a Muslim community of more than one million souls, the largest in Latin America.
The King Fahd Center, located in downtown Buenos Aires, is the largest Muslim cultural and religious institution outside Islamic countries. The Argentinean capital city also hosts three mosques.
