Extending Iraq's oil for food program for six months

The UN security council on Thursday approved extension of the UN security Council resolution "oil for food" program on Iraq for 6 months and also decided to make a revision within 30 days for the list of goods that Baghdad needs the UN consent for -- before importing them.
The approval of the extension came unanimously after the US gave up its demand to extend the program just for two weeks and this was against the determination of the other 14 members of the UN Security Council.
