US abstains from UN voting over Jerusalem

The US has abstained from voting at the UN General Assembly on resolution on Tuesday concerning the rights of the Palestinians in East Jerusalem. All EU member stated voted in support of the resolution, which was approved by the majority of 154 votes with five members which abstained from voting. The resolution was rejected by the USA, Israel, Marshal Island, Micronisia and Costa Rica.
