Yemeni president pardons prisoners

Yemen's President Ali Abdullah Saleh announced the release of some 1285 prisoners which were sentenced for minor criminal issues. the decision was taken upon the fall of Eif al-Fiter (holiday).
The Yemeni official news agency said that the decision taken to release these prisoners, include the prisoners which proved before the judiciary to be unable to pay due fees.
