Al-Shara holds consultations with Hammoud, Moussa on Arab conditions, inspection operations in Iraq

Syria's foreign minister Farouk al-Shara yesterday received a telephone call from his Lebanese peer Mahmoud Hammoud during which they exchanged views and consultations on latest developments in the region and inter- Arab conditions.
Yesterday afternoon, al-Shara received a telephone call from the secretary general of the Arab League Amr Moussa during which discussions dealt with the deteriorated conditions in the occupied Palestinian territories and the course of works of the UN inspection committees in Iraq as well as current Arab conditions.
Meantime, Hammoud discussed with his Egyptian counterpart Ahmad Maher, in a telephone call regional and international developments and bilateral relations.
The two sides also discussed the issue of convening the expected meeting of the Arab move and follow up committee due to be held later this month.
Hammoud, on the other hand received a message from the Saudi foreign minister prince Saud al-Faisal conveyed by the Saudi ambassador in Beirut Fouad Sadeq relating to current developments and contacts among the Arab states on latest developments on the Arab and international arenas, inter- Arab coordination and Arab conditions.
