Palestinian official against attacking Israeli civilians

The Palestinian official in charge of internal affairs in the Palestinian Authority, Hani al-Hassan, has stated that it is necessary to encourage the Israeli left and the Israeli society to eliminate their fears and to proceed into the path of negotiations, adding "we encourage these trends especially that the Israeli society is suffering like the Palestinian society."
Al-Hassan added in statements in Cairo yesterday, following his meeting with the secretary general of the Arab League Amr Moussa that the Palestinian Authority rejects the policy of attacking the Israeli civilians, describing this policy as wrong.
