Syria, Lebanon for boosting academic relations

Rector of Damascus University, Hani Mortada, received yesterday a delegation of students from the Lebanese Al-Kislek University Institution of Photography headed by Rev. Louis Samaha.

Talks during the meeting dealt with the relations of scientific and cultural cooperation between Syrian and Lebanese universities and the necessity of deepening these relations in a practical way to serve the issues of the higher education and scientific research.

They also stressed the necessity to make use of specializations of both universities and to achieve the scientific integration.

Talks also dealt with the project of cooperation between students of both universities in the field of photography in order to prepare for an exhibition that represents the culture of the architect of old Damascus.

The exhibition which is scheduled to be opened in the near future at the university of fine arts in Damascus, will repesent the beginning of fruitful cultural cooperation between the students of both universities.
