Romania for boosting relations with Syria

The ambassador of Rumania in Damascus affirmed the deep Syrian -Rumanian relations which date back to more than 200 years, underlining that Syria is the gate of Rumania to the Arab states and Rumania is the gate of Syria to Europe.
In an interview given to the Syrian daily Al-Thawra and published Saturday on the occasion of the 84th anniversary of the Romanian National day, the ambassador expressed his optimism toward the development of cooperation between the two countries in all fields, indicating that the two countries "are in possession of enormous economic and human capacities." The Ambassador stressed on the importance of the role played by the Syrian community in Rumania in the development of dialogue between the two countries.
