Syria: exempting customs director from his post

Well-informed sources in Damascus said that the customs director in Syria Ghatfan al- Refa' was removed from his post on Thursday and his deputy Zuheir Halawani is currently in charge of the post, until his retirement at the end of the current year.
The sources also added that customs director in Aleppo and the secretary of customs in Aleppo were brought for investigation by the political security in addition to large members of staff in this department.
