Six Israelis killed 30 wounded in Palestinian operation in Beisan

Some 6 Israelis were killed and other 30 wounded, 13 of them are in critical health conditions in the attack which was launched by two Palestinians by machine guns and mortars in bus stations in front of a voting center for the Israeli Likud Party in Beisan. The two executors of the operation were also killed.

The al-Aqsa martyrs group of the Fatah movement claimed responsibility for this operation.

Eye- witnesses said that the Israeli forces started large scale inspection work in the area and reinforced its military presence along Ara valley and on the road to the two cities of al-Khudeira and al-Afoula of 1948 ( Israel).

The witnesses said that the attackers arrived in a car which stopped at the station and stepped out of it and opened fire, using machine guns and mortars.

The spokesman for the Israeli police Offer Saffan said the two attackers were shot by the Israeli soldiers.

Meantime, several shells were dropped at Morag settlement in the Israeli settlements area of Ghoushe Kativ in Gaza yesterday morning.

The Israeli forces arrested 6 Palestinians in Jenin and two other Palestinians at Beit Hanoun crossing in Gaza.

The Israeli forces also arrested five Palestinian brothers in a village close to Bethlehem in the West Bank on charge of resisting occupation and being members in Palestinian resistance movement.

The two Palestinian movements of Hamas and the Islamic Jihad stressed continued resistance until the evacuation of the last Israeli soldier from the Palestinian territories.
