Syria- EU health cooperation

Syria's Health Minister, Mohammed Iyad al-Shatti received today a delegation representing EU experts, who will contribute in presenting expertise and equipment regarding the modernization and development program of Ministry of Health.
The meeting was attended by the national team concerned in following up the related program.
Al-Shatti stressed the standing cooperation with the EU specially the program of supporting and developing health sector in Syria in the field of health care regulations through health area systems, supporting health villages, in addition to improving the hospital services.
It is worth mentioning that the EU aid to developing health sector estimated Euro 30 million for five years period.
