Yemen and cooperation with the USA

Abdul Karim al-Eryani, the advisor of the Yemeni President Ali Abdullah Saleh, indicated that the Arab states will minimize their cooperation with the US in the war against terrorism if the latter launches a war against Iraq.
In statements to the press, al-Eryani added that launching a war against Iraq will destabilize the region. He expressed his doubts over the ability of the USA to install a stable government in Baghdad.
Al-Eryani, an important figure in the coordination process between Yemen and the USA, on the other hand explained that the Arab- Israeli conflict is the reasons in the emergence of extremism.
