Saudi Arabia has no sleeping cell; Kuwait: targeting American soldiers is individual incident

Kuwait on Sunday stressed that opening fire at two American soldiers in Kuwait was "an individual incident" and does not indicate that there is a "security unrest" in the country, stressing solid relations with the US.
However, the Kuwaiti daily al-Anbaa reported that the accused man ( the attacker of the two American soldier) stressed his hatred for the Americans and attacked them deliberately.
On the other hand, Saudi Arabia stressed that there are no "sleeping cells" having links to al-Qaida organization in Saudi Arabia.
Meantime, the US Peace Corps suspended its activities in Jordan for security concerns to its volunteers, according to the program's director Gadi Vaskis.
Meanwhile, the chairman of the board council of Riyadh international company which owns McDonald's restaurants in Saudi Arabia, prince Mashaal Bin Khaled Bin Fahd al-Farhan al-Saud said on Saturday that the restaurant which was exposed to a fire in al-Kharj area to the southern east of Riyadh will be reopened in addition to other ten restaurants before the end of 2003.
