Canadian satisfaction over recent inter- Sudanese negotiations

The Canadian foreign minister Bill Graham has expressed his satisfaction over the recent negotiations that took place between the Sudanese government and the rebels of the Sudan People Liberation Army (SPLA) in the south.

In a statement on Friday, Graham said that Canada encourages the agreement of the two sides to find out a permanent solution that will be attained in line with demands of the international community.

For her part the Canadian special delegate for the negotiations, Mobina Javier, said that the partial agreement reached by the two sides in Kenya last Monday will allow the transportation of humanitarian aids to the areas in need.
