An Israeli- Greek missile deal at $ 80 million

The Israeli defense ministry yesterday disclosed the signing of a contract between Greece and Israel at a cost of $ 80 million according to which Israel will build two missile ships of type "Saer" for Greece in order to be used in protecting the Olympic Games Greece will host in 2004.
The Israeli ministry added that the two ships will be handed over in December 2003 and a third ship will be built of the same type in Greece and will be ready for service by the fall of April 2004, four months before the beginning of the Olympic games.
