Al-Khazraji arrested in Denmark

The Danish police announced yesterday arresting lt. Gen. Nizar al-Kharzaji, the former officer in the Iraqi army and the refugee in Denmark since 1999. He is accused of committing war crimes against the Kurds in the 1980s in northern Iraq.
A Danish security source said that the police interrogated al-Khazraji who was previously the chief of staff of the Iraqi armed forces and brought before Soru's court judiciary ( 50 Km southern west Copenhagen).
