Hammoud: UN resolution 1441 is booby trapped

The Lebanese foreign minister Mahmoud Hammoud yesterday told journalists that the meeting of nine Arab foreign ministers due to be held today in Damascus will study the situation in Iraq after the arrival of the UN inspectors in Baghdad.
Hammoud said that the "meeting in Damascus" is extraordinary during which "we will follow up developments especially concerning Iraq" after the arrival of the UN chief inspector Hans Blix and the director of the international agency for atomic energy Muhammad al-Barad'e in Baghdad.
Meantime and in an interview with the Lebanese daily Assafir issued yesterday, Hammoud considered the UN resolution 1441 as booby trapped and that the American attack against Iraq is inevitable.
However, Baghdad approved before the arrival of Blix and al-Barad'e to Iraq, the UN resolution 1441 which allow the return back of UN weapons inspectors.
