Al-Assad confers with Lebanese PM, MP

Syria's President Bashar al-Assad on Saturday in Damascus received the Lebanese prime minister Rafic Hariri. Talks dealt with regional and international developments and means of strengthening relations between Syria and Lebanon.
Later in the day, at noon, the president received the Lebanese member of Parliament Nazem al-Khaouri.
Discussions dealt with issues of concern for the two " brotherly countries, Syria and Lebanon."
