Arab follow up committee to meet in Damascus on Wednesday

A source in the Arab League announced yesterday that the Arab follow up committee will hold a meeting in Damascus on November 20 and 21 in order to discuss taking a common Arab position towards the ME peace initiatives.
The source added that the follow up committee will meet "to discuss a common Arab position concerning international ideas especially the Americans and the Europeans aiming at reviving the peace process in the Middle East."
The source continued that the Arab ministers "will work to formulate a common vision towards the American road map." The source indicated "intensive ongoing contacts between Lebanon, the Arab League and Syria in preparations for the meeting held during the emergency meeting of the foreign ministers on November 10 in Cairo.
The Arab follow up committee which was established during the recent Beirut's Arab summit includes Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco, Syria, Yemen, the Palestinian authority and the Arab League represented by its secretary general Amr Moussa.
