Qatar and the UN resolution on Iraq

Qatar has expressed its hope that the UN Security Council resolution 1441 will avoid Iraq and the Guld region a new war and support regional security and stability.
The Qatari news agency quoted an official source at the Qatari foreign ministry as saying that his country's position is unwavering which is embodied in the need of preserving Iraq's unity, sovereignty and territorial integrity and non intervention in its internal affairs.
