King Mohammed launches construction of neighbourhood for inhabitants of shanty towns

Morocco's King Mohammed VI launched this Friday afternoon construction works of a neighbourhood in Ouled Zaer locality (near Rabat) to house inhabitants of two shanty towns.
The housing project, estimated to cost 344 million DH (US$ 34.4 Mln), will include an industrial compound and collective social facilities.
It is co-financed by the Mohammed V solidarity foundation, local authorities and the ministry of housing and urbanism.
Recipients are inhabitants of shantytowns in the localities of Laouamer and Akrech.
