The sources said that this campaign resulted in detaining thousands of those Yemenis, noting that the Saudi authorities put the Yemeni citizens in collective detention centers and are interrogated on the relations linking them to each other and ways on how they had entered the Saudi territories.

The Yemeni weekly al-Ummah ( the nation), mouthpiece of the opposition al-Haq ( the right ) party said that the Saudi authorities evacuated 3600 Yemenis from its territories and that Saudi planes took them to Sanaa International airport during the past days.

"al-Ummah" quoted one Yemeni citizen who was evacuated by the Saudi authorities that he and others were held for one week in Jeddah in collective centers during which they were harassed and humiliated before they were evacuated to Sanaa, adding that the measures taken against them by the Saudi authorities were illegal and that the security authorities in Saudi Arabia expanded its security measures against the Yemeni citizens living in its territories.
