Al-Shara confers with Yakhlaf

The foreign minister Farouk al-Shara yesterday received the chairman of the higher council for education and culture in the PLO Yahya Yakhlaf, who is also the chairman of the general conference committee of the Palestinian writers and journalists. The meeting was attended by the chairman of the Arab Writers Union, Ali Oqla Orsan.
Discussions dealt with the drastic conditions of the Palestinians inside the occupied territories as "a result of the policy of besiege imposed on them and the attempts made to destroy the Palestinian cultural and educational structures with the aim of abrogating the Palestinian identity, and killing the will of steadfastness in the Palestinians."
