Hamas, Fatah to meet in Cairo next week

A high ranking Palestinian official stated yesterday that meetings will be held between two delegation from the Fatah and Hamas movements in Cairo by the beginning of next week.
The official who preferred not to be identified said that the meetings will discuss internal and political issues, the question of national unity and resisting the Israeli occupation.
The source explained that the delegation of the Fatah movement includes several key figures especially Zakaraya al-Agha, member of the movement's central committee, and Samir al- Shamahrwaie, the official in Fatah, and Muhammad Rasheed, the advisor of the chairman of the Palestinian authority Yasser Arafat while Hamas delegation includes leading figures from abroad, including the chairman of the movement's political bureau Khaled Mashaal and Mousa Abu Marzouk.
