Mubarak approves the formation of the higher council for policies in the democratic national party

Egypt's President Hosni Mubarak of Egypt has approved, in his capacity as the chairman of the Democratic National party, the formation of the higher council for policies in the party, chaired by his son Gamal Mubarak, member of the commission of the officce of the party's general secretariat. This is however the secretariat which was formed according to the new system initiated recently in September by the party's secretary congress.

The adopted formation of the secretariat of the higher council for policies showed that there are 80 new members in the party who are practicing work inside this party for the first time among 135, who are the total members of the higher council for policies.

Among the new faces are Anas al-Faqe, the chairman of the culture palaces commission in Egypt; Tahani Omar, the chairperson of the French university and large number of university rectors and heads of public sector's companies.

The formation included only one Cabinet minister who is Youssef Butrous Ghali the minister of foreign trade; a former minister Mahmoud Sharif and also former tourism minister Jamal al- Naser.
