Yemen investigates in a car explosion carrying al-Qaida members

Yemen said it is investigating the reason for the blowing up of a car which was carrying 6 persons presumed to have carried members of al-Qaida organization in Mareb province to the east of the country.
In a statement, an official in the Yemeni government said that investigations continue for the reasons behind the explosion.
An official at the Yemeni ministry of the interior said that weapons and explosives and telecommunications equipment were found in the car which was running in Mareb province on Sunday.
Worthy mentioning that among the killed persons is one suspect in the bombardment of the US warship "USS Cole" in 2000 at Aden seaport in which 17 US marines were killed.
