Jordan: Arresting of one Islamists claimed responsibility for assassinating Folley

The Jordanian authorities arrested Naem Abu al-Louz after suspecting him of contacting the American embassy in Amman during which he claimed responsibility for killing the American diplomat Laurence Folley and threatened to launch more attacks.
Abu al-Louz relative, a Jordanian of Palestinian origin, living in al-Talbeyah camp for refugees said that the security forces arrested him last week as well as his brother. A security source said Abu al-Louz brothers belong to the Islamic trend.
Abu al-Louz is a barber and the authorities traced the telephone call he had made to the US embassy. One family member said he "had contacted the embassy and threatened to launch operations against American diplomats, saying that he is behind the killing an American diplomat on October 28.
The Jordanian authorities arrested scores of political activists in search for the killers of Folley. Sources close to the investigations said that it so far resulted in no certain results.
One of the sources which asked to be anonymous said that the Jordanian authorities "are making relentless efforts and briefing the Americans on the course of the investigations."
