Mubarak, al-Assad discuss the situation in the region

Egypt's President Hosni Mubarak yesterday evening made a telephone call with the Syrian President Bashar al-Assad that dealt with the situation in the Middle East and the Iraqi crisis.
MENA reported that "the two presidents reviewed the developments of conditions concerning the Middle East question and development of the Iraqi crisis, and" exchanged congratulations on the fall of the holy month of Ramadan.
