Moroccan, Mauritanian women heads of enterprises sign partnership convention

The Moroccan association of Women Heads of Enterprises (AFEM) and its Mauritanian peer (UMAFEC) signed in Casablanca last week a convention of cooperation and partnership. The accord binds the two parties to exchange information on the developments of trade and the investments made by women who manage enterprises in the two north African countries.
The two associations also undertake to hold consultations on trade exhibitions and seminars held in the two states.
The associations adopted an action plan for the promotion of entrepreneurial conditions for African women and the set up of business centers for women heads of enterprises within employers organizations.
