Morocco-European Union, Politics, 11/5/2002
The European Commission on Monday announced the postponement of a visit that Morocco's Foreign Affairs and Cooperation Minister, Mohamed Benaissa, was to pay to Brussels. The postponement was decided upon a request by the Moroccan side, said the spokesman of Romano Prodi, President of the European Commission.
The two parties are in touch to set a new date for the visit, the spokesman said, adding Benaissa's discussions with European officials were scheduled to tackle several major topics of common concern.
