Al-Rai al-Aam: Kuwaiti soldier tries to break into al-Doha camp
Kuwait-USA, Politics, 11/5/2002

The Kuwaiti security forces have foiled an attempt made by a Kuwaiti soldier who wanted to sneak into al-Doha camp where the American forces are stationed with the aim of attacking the American soldiers there.

Well-informed sources told the Kuwaiti daily al-Rai al-Aam issued yesterday that the soldier in the Kuwaiti army was arrested before Sunday midnight trying to sneak into al-Doha camp in his car and with weapons and he was prevented from proceeding and arrested.

In the preliminary investigations, the Kuwaiti soldier said he wanted to enter the camp with the intention to kill the Americans in order not to launch a war against Islam and Muslims and because "they are supporting Israel and its brutal massacres."
