An American military delegation in Israel for coordination

An American military delegation started a visit to Israel in the framework of the military and security cooperation between the US and Israel.

The Israeli radio said that the American delegation is composed of several high ranking army officers in the American army including Gen. Charles Simpson, the commander of the air forces in Europe and gen. Richard Verny, the official in charge of logistic formations in the American army.

The radio indicated that the American delegation will hold meetings with high ranking army officers in the Israeli army, and will hold inspection visits to the camps of the Israeli army and the American military warehouses in Israel.

Last week the US deputy chief of staff of the joint forces gen. James Mitsiker visited Israel and held meetings with the Israeli military and security military men in the framework of joint military coordination between the US and Israel.

Worthy mentioning that Mitsiker is also in charge of coordinating with the Israeli army in case the US launches an attack against Iraq.
