An emergency meeting for the Arab foreign ministers

A source close to the Arab League (AL)has stated that the AL council will hold an emergency meeting at the level of the foreign ministers next Saturday which falls November 9th in Cairo to be dedicated to the Palestinian and Iraqi issue. The source said that the ministers will hold large scale consultations concerning the situation in the Arab states especially in Palestine and Iraq.

The source explained that the ministers of the 11 Arab members states in the follow up committee will also hold a meeting on the sideline of the works of the AL council in order to discuss the situation in the occupied Palestinian territories and the additional financial aids approved in previous meetings for the Palestinian authority.

The source, on the other hand, said that a meeting on Sudan will be held on November 9th in the presence of several Arab ministers. No mention was given to the names of Arab states taking part in this meeting.
