Libya elected FAO deputy chairman

Libya was elected unanimously as the deputy chairman of the UN Food and Agriculture Organization FAO. The Libyan official News Agency said that this was made during the convening of FAO's council in its 123rd session at FAO's headquarters in Rome.
Libya on Saturday was appointed a member at the executive council of the World Food Program for three years.
