Al-Bayan: Jordanian brotherhood warns against dismembering
Jordan, Politics, 11/2/2002

The general observer of the Ikhwan al-Muslimin (Muslim brothers) groups in Jordan, Abdul Majid Zneibat, has warned against the inclination of the Islamic movement to secret work in case the Jordanian government will desolve the group or dismember them as a result of foreign pressures."

In a statement issued by the United Arab Emirates UAE al-Bayan daily, Zneibat said that Jordan will witness "in case the group is desolved a situation similar to that in Egypt after harassing (Muslim brothers) groups in it."

He added "the absence of the Islamic movement from the Jordanian circle will end up in dismembering its members and forming groups that will resort to secret work."
