Israel blows up two Palestinian homes

The Israeli forces yesterday broke to the northern and southern parts of Gaza and the breaking in operations resulted in wounding a Palestinian youth and destruction of more than 10 houses.

A Palestinian official said that a special Israeli force incurred to the east of Beit Hanoun town for two kilometers in al-Amar quarters and broke into several houses and arrested 15 Palestinians before blowing up two houses by explosives.

A Palestinian source said that the Israeli forces incurred into the city of Rafah to the south of Gaza and demolished by bulldozers seven houses and the outer fence of al- Nour mosque and leveled vast areas of cultivated lands in Beit Hanoun under the pretext of the existence of tunnels in the area.

Three Israeli settlers were killed and two wounded, in a Palestinian operation carried out by the Palestinian Tareq Abu Saffaqa on late Tuesday evening in Harmish settlement. The operation was claimed by al-Aqsa martyrs group of the Fatah movement. A statement said that the executor of the operation is from Toulkarem and he is 23 years old.

On the other hand, the new Palestinian authority yesterday held its first meeting after the Palestinian legislative council approved it on Tuesday.

The local rule official Saeb Oreikat said that the officials of the new authority discussed the government's program mainly the political area including the American document ( road map) which talks about founding a Palestinian state within three years.

Hani al-Hassan, the interior official in the new Palestinian authority said he will implement the decision of the Palestinian authority to prevent the attacks against the Israelis and he will unify the Palestinian security departments under one authority.
