Daghan assumes his post as Mossad's chief officially

Lt. Gen. Munir Daghan yesterday assumed his new post, officially, as chairman of the Israeli foreign intelligence agency ( Mossad ), in succession of Afraem Halevey who will have the post of the chairman of the national security council and the advisor of the prime minister for national security.
A special celebration was held on this occasion on Tuesday evening in Tel Aviv, attended by hundreds of Mossad men and heads of security departments, the prime minister Ariel Sharon and the Israeli foreign minister Shimon Peres.
