Mubarak in Tunisia and Libya; AL chief: emergency meeting on Nov 10th

Egypt's President Hosni Mubarak will hold a visit to Libya in conclusion of a tour that led him yesterday to Tunisia after Morocco.
Meantime, the Arab League (AL) announced that the proposed date for the emergency meeting to be held by the Arab foreign ministers will be on November 10th, and will not be dedicated for discussing Libya's request to pullout from the Arab League.
A source close to the Egyptian presidency said that Mubarak will be meeting in conclusion of his current tour with the Libyan leader in order to discuss Libya's request withdrawal from the Arab League.
The source explained that Mubarak will "move to Libya immediately after his visit to Tunisian on Thursday ( today) in order to discuss Tripoli's request to withdraw from the AL because of its worries over the current Arab conditions." The source added that "Mubarak and Qathafi agreed on that visit during a telephone call they made three days ago." A diplomatic Arab source living in Cairo said that Libya asked the Arab League on Tuesday to convene an "emergency summit to discuss the current Arab situation."
The Secretary general of the Arab League Amr Moussa said that the proposed date for the emergency meeting which will be held by the Arab foreign ministers will be on November 10th. Moussa added to the press "this emergency meeting will not be dedicated to discuss Libya's request to withdraw from the Arab League." He continued " It was agreed that the Libyan request to be debated with the AL chief and that the meeting will discuss the general situation in the Arab world and the standing possibilities and problems."
Replying to a question on whether the current conditions requires convening an extraordinary Arab summit, the AL chief said that the meeting of the "Arab foreign ministers is for consultation to shape a vision on how to deal with various possibilities." The sources added that the Libyan African unity affairs minister Ali al-Tureiki conveyed to Moussa Libya's request to convene an emergency meeting at the Summit level and that Moussa answered that this request will be submitted to the Arab foreign ministers during their meeting.
