Ebeid inaugurates today petroleum conference

Egypt's Prime Minister Atef Ebeid inaugurates today the International Petroleum Conference where 1500 experts from Egypt and 50 countries will attend the 3-day event.
ΚΚΚ Minister of Petroleum Sameh Fahmy said the conference is organized by five major foreign oil associations in addition to 50 international companies that participate in the exhibition due to be held on the sidelines of the conference.
ΚΚΚ Fahmy added that the conference aims at exchange of expertise in the field of petroleum and gas industry and getting acquainted with the state-of-the- art technology applied in this regard.
ΚΚΚ The Minister pointed out that four forums would be held where some experts, from international companies will address the participants on technical aspects like the impact of the recent development of the industry on environment.
