The representatives of the three monotheistic religions, Islam, Christianity and Judaism, asserted their absolute backing to Alexandria first communiqu?.
ΚΚΚ The communiqu? averred the importance of respecting the three monotheistic religions and flatly rejected violence, hatred and racial discrimination.
ΚΚΚ The communiqu? also called for reaching a just and comprehensive solution to the Palestinian cause by ironing out all obstacles represented in putting an end to the Israeli occupation, withdrawing to the borders of 1967 and establishing a viable Palestinian state.
ΚΚΚ The communiqu? was released by the standing committee for following up Alexandria communiqu? issued in Lambeth Palace in London On this October 24, 25.
ΚΚΚ Dr. Ali al-Salman attended the meeting on behalf of Grand Imam of Al-Azhar and high-profile Palestinian delegation including Sheikh Tal al-Sadr, President Arafat's adviser for dialogue affairs, Sheikh Tayseer al-Tamimi, the acting chief judge, Rabbi Michelle Melghyour, Israeli deputy foreign minister, Father Michelle Sahh, the archbishop of Latin Church in Al-Quds (Jerusalem) and Dr. Emile Gargo, a Palestinian MP.
