A cease fire agreement in Somalia

The Somali armed groups have signed an immediate cease fire agreement and agreed for forming a federal government yesterday during the national reconciliation conference on Somalia that has been ongoing since the mid of October in Kenya.
A source close to the mediation commission carried out by IGAD said that the agreement which was signed by representatives of 20 Somali groups give guarantees for the safety of humanitarian agencies employees in Somalia and a commitment to fighting terrorism.
