Iraq: no need for new resolution concerning UN inspectors
Iraq, Politics, 10/28/2002
Iraq yesterday reemphasized that there is no need to issue a new resolution by the UN Security Council concerning work of the UN inspectors in Iraq. Iraq also considered the American efforts inside the UN as aiming at finding legitimate pretexts to launch war against it.
The chairman of the permanent committee for Arab and international relations at the Iraqi national council, Salem al-Kubeisi, said that there is no need to issue a new resolution as far as Iraq has announced its acceptance for the return back of the UN inspectors unconditionally.
