Qathafi gets a telephone call from Bashir
Sudan-Libya, Politics, 10/26/2002
Libya's Leader of the Revolution Colonel Muammar al Qathafi yesterday received a telephone call from the Sudanese President Omar Hassan al-Bashir. Tripoli's radio said that al-Bashir conveyed to Qathafi Sudan's great disappointment over Libya's decision to withdraw from the AL.
Bashir said "this is a very grave matter and there should be consultation with the Arab leaders on that."
Bashir continued he will delegate his foreign minister Mustafa Othman Ismael for Libya very soon to make consultation about this issue.
