French defense minister to visit Saudi Arabia

The French defense minister Michele Alliot-Marie will start on Saturday an official visit to Saudi Arabia, which is her first since she assumed this post of office.
Sources at the French embassy in Riyadh said that the French minister will hold during her visit talks with the Saudi minister of defense and aviation prince Sultan Bin Abdul Aziz and with high ranking Saudi officials. The talks will deal with the situation in the occupied Palestinian territories and the Iraqi file.
