King Mohammed meets Kuwaiti Amir, Kuwaiti top officials

Morocco's King Mohammed VI, who started on Tuesday an official visit to Kuwait, held on Wednesday talks with Kuwait's Amir Sheikh Jaber al-Ahmad al-Jaber al-Sabah.

Morocco's minister of foreign affairs and cooperation, Mohamed Benaissa, and several Kuwaiti officials attended the talks.

On the same day, the sovereign received in his residence in Kuwait City Minister of State For Foreign Affairs, Mohammad Sabah al-Salem al-Sabah, who said he examined with the sovereign several political and economic issues. This is the second meeting between the sovereign and the Kuwait foreign minister, after a meeting held on Tuesday.

Another work session was held between the sovereign and chairman of the Kuwaiti chamber of commerce and industry, Saad Ali Nahed, who was accompanied by the chamber's governing board members.

On Tuesday, the king had received the Kuwaiti foreign minister and deputy premier and the state minister for foreign affairs.

The sovereign, who came from Russia where he paid this Oct.14-19 an official visit, also received Ahmad Jar Khaled Soulaymane Al-Jar Allah, secretary general at the Kuwaiti foreign ministry who was accompanied by Kuwait's ambassador in Morocco Mohamed Salah Al Bouaijane.

Following the meeting, the king bade farewell to the Amir of the state of Kuwait.
