Kuwait: King's visit is historic

Kuwait's State Minister for Foreign Affairs Sheikh Muhammad Sabah Al-Salem Al-Sabah described the visit of Morocco's King Mohammed to Kuwait as a historic one. "It is a historic visit by all measures because it is the first time hr comes to Kuwait as a King though he visited Kuwait in 1990 as Crown Prince," Sheikh Muhammad said.
"Kuwaitis remember with pride and gratitude the late King Hassan II as he stood by Kuwait during the Iraqi invasion," he said.
He added that the visit would further the strong ties already existing between Kuwait and Morocco.
