Al-Assad gets a message from Bouteflika, talks with AL chief, Iranian interior minister

Syria's President Bashar al-Assad discussed on Saturday the latest developments in the Middle East region with the secretary general of the Arab League (AL) Amr Moussa, and got a message from the Algerian President Abdul Aziz Bouteflika and met with the Iranian minister of security ( the interior minister).
During his meeting with the AL chief, President al-Assad stressed the need for enhancing Arab's solidarity and unity so as to confront the dangers and challenges threatening the Arab nation. The discussions, which were attended by the Syrian foreign minister Farouk al-Shara dealt with the ongoing "Israeli policy of genocide against the Palestinian people."
President al-Assad also on Saturday received at al-Rawda Presidential palace the Algerian foreign minister Abdul Aziz Balkhadem. Al-Shara, and the Algerian ambassador in Damascus, attended the meeting. The Algerian FM delivered to President al-Assad a message from the Algerian President on the Arab, international developments.
Earlier in the day, the President received the Iranian minister of security Ali Younisi and members of the accompanying delegation.
Discussions dealt with developments concerning the Iraqi issue and potential international reactions expected to be resulted from a military attack against Iraq.talks between the two sides also dealt with the importance of coordination between the two countries to confront any prospective developments.
