The Israeli radio said on Friday that the Israeli prime minister Ariel Sharon asked the US secretary of state Colin Powell during their meeting on Thursday in Washington that Washington to expert its influence on Syria and Lebanon to avoiding their "violation" of agreements pertinent to sharing joint water resources, noting that this matter would escalate conditions.
The radio added that the US under secretary of state William Burns will deal with this matter during his tour in the Middle East region.
